Pittsburgh-based band The Redlines have planned two unique album release concerts this Fall to celebrate their new self-titled full-length album. To accommodate their fans from around the region, the first show is scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2014 at Wooley Bully’s in New Brighton, Beaver County while the second concert is set for Howler’s Coyote Cafe in the Bloomfield neighborhood of Pittsburgh on Saturday October 4, 2014. Each show will highlight the 11 songs from the new album, available on CD and digitally September 23, along with other surprises and special guest musicians.

“Our fans have been waiting patiently for this full length album. We’re excited to finally get it into their hands,” said lead vocalist, Brian Seese. “It’s been a year-long process of writing songs, recording, and general production of the album. But that extra time has given us a chance to work on some new and different things specially for these release shows.”

The Redlines play a mix of classic rock, garage rock, alt-country, blues, and Americana, resulting in a genre they call American Rock & Roll. The band includes Brian Seese and Jason Lizzi on lead vocal and guitar, Tony Vinski on bass and Scott Klimcheck on drums.

Both CD release parties will feature guest musicians, adding to the fanfare. The September 26th show at Wooley Bully’s (over 21 and free admission) starts at 9pm with an acoustic performance by TC Davis and Corey Gray from the Americana/rock band, The Sparrows. The Redlines will then take the stage along with special guests percussionist Brian Fazio and keyboardist Tim Mabin of The Dan Bubien Band.

The October 4th show, starting at 9:30pm at Howlers, features openers Southside American and Coronado with The Redlines rounding out the night, joined by Alex Sands, keyboardist from Coronado. Admission is $5.00 at the door and all attendees must be over 21.

The Redlines album was recorded and mixed by Pete Drivere at Ampreon Recorder in Youngstown, OH and mastered by Ken Rose at A Warped Halo in Indianapolis, IN. It features Jay Wiley of The Hawkeyes on harmonica and Chris Leonardi on keyboards. It is being released on the Pittsburgh-based record label, Swade Records. The first single, “What’s Life Without” is available for streaming and free download at http://rdlns.us/bct.

About The Redlines: When one looks at all the pieces that shape The Redlines it comes down to one thing: Rock & Roll. Hailing from just north of Pittsburgh, PA, the 4-piece band has taken personal influences and past experience to create a sound they call, American Rock & Roll, a unique blend that touches on classic rock, garage rock, alt-country, Americana, and blues. No strangers to the stage or studio, Brian Seese and Jason Lizzi share lead vocal and guitar duties while Tony Vinski (bass) and Scott Klimcheck (drums) fill out the rhythm section to create songs with a classic feel but delivered with a fury. Their self-titled full-length album will be released in September 2014 as a follow-up to 2013’s Marionettes in Waiting EP which garnered airplay on Pittsburgh’s WXDX (105.9 The X) and Butler’s WLER (97.7).
